First Literary Read
This was the first time I have ever read a book that is “literary.” I had picked this one out a few years ago from #bookofthemonth and I just never got to it because I thought it would not be something that I would enjoy. Well, I am happy that I finally read it because OH MY GOD. I loved this book so much. I felt an extreme connection to it because Ren's sister was an older sister and I have a younger brother who I envisioned as Ren. HIm going through all the hurt and pain of losing his sister made me think about what my brother would have to go through if something happened to me and it just made me really sad. It also made me think about all the little things in life that make up someone's memories and them as a whole. It was really interesting to think about.
I do not want to give too much away in regards to the plot but there is a bit of a mystery element to it because Ren is trying to figure out who murdered his sister. I honestly would recommend that anyone/everyone read this book because it is just so beautiful.
