Rare Flower

A heartbreaking romance of tortured fated lovers who can't stop hurting each other but also can't leave each other alone.

“Posy,” Ant whispered, “this is our curse, so we'll learn to bear it together.”

We see Narcissus hurting, and Ant hurting, both because of their circumstances and each other, and it's gut wrenching because they're fated, so they can't walk away.

It's hard to review this exhaustively without spoiling a lot of the plot points, but honestly it handled some touchy subjects incredibly well.

I'm not certain that I loved the ending, and the choices they made -it seemed like they were clutching at straws to save the relationship (but any port in a storm, I guess?), but that didn't take away from my enjoyment of the rest of the book.
