Wellendingen, an idyllic village in the southern Black Forest: Hans Seger is away on business in Sweden, and his wife Eva has an early shift at the Donaueschingen hospital. Their daughter, seven-year-old Lea, is with neighbors. Everything seems to be in perfect order until the morning of May 23, when the power suddenly goes out.
