Book two of RAZING GRACE picks up right after the shocking events of book one. To say I was bummed at the end of book one would be an understatement. I cried...CRIED people. Alas, I soldiered on because damn if I wasn't sucked into this story.
So this was probably more a 3.75 than a 4. I enjoyed it just slightly less than book one. The writing was still fantastic. The plot was interesting and moved along at a good pace. It had some twists and turns (boy did it). I fell more in love with Raze and Millie. I loved the secondary characters and their interactions with Millie. I'd love to see some books featuring them.
What lowered my rating ever so slightly was the direction the author choose to go in in regards to certain characters and the aftermath of an incident. I know that is vague, but I don't want to give anything away. Let us just say I HATED it and thought it was totally unnecessary to go that route. And honestly, it pissed me off. The timing of it specifically. Had it happened earlier it probably wouldn't have bothered me as much. It just really bummed me out.
That aside, I really enjoyed these two books. I am on the fence about Frost's and Ella's book due to where he is heading off to at the end of this one. Knowing what he is going off to do, kind of ruins the excited feelings I had about him and Ella. We'll see, though...
