I never liked Painter and I probably shouldn't read his book but I just couldn't miss any details in this series, so... it was definitely not the book for me. I really like Joanna's style, that's why I keep reading her books, but I just couldn't connect with Painter or Melanie.
Still, I'm looking forward to Gage's book!
