I've been hoping for redemption for Winter since reading Flawless, and boy did Elsie deliver. I sort of knew that I would love her after I read the dedication for the book and that I would relate to her in so many ways. In this fourth installment of the Chestnut Springs series, we get to read all about Summer's sister Winter, a doctor who is perceived as cold but is really just misunderstood, and Theo, Rhett's bull riding protege. After a night of drinking at a hotel bar and a delicious one night stand, Winter finds herself pregnant. Reading Winter's journey into motherhood and those early months was so incredibly relatable and really resonated with me. Elsie did an amazing job at showcasing those tougher elements of motherhood and the toll it can take on a woman. Theo. Freaking. Silva. Perhaps my new favorite Chestnut Springs man? That feels like a big claim after the others, but I loved him so much! He is so tender and considerate and he loves so hard, but the mouth on that boy... swoon. He is just as sweet as he is spicy. The banter, tension, and pay off were all so well done. I love this book so much, and I think many women will see themselves in Winter. Reckless is an adult small town romance, 18+ for sexual content and themes. check the authors note at the start of the book Reckless releases June 9, 2023 and it is available for preorder now!

I loved Winters point of view.
I loved how she worked on being a better sister and getting a relationship with her sister and his family.
I love a pregnancy trope.
Normally, I am not a fan of surprise pregnancy tropes but this was great. In fact, i was about to dnf it as soon as i got to the part where she finds out but then i stuck through because i wanted to read about theo. and so i am glad i did, because this was so good. The baby was so adorable, and i loved theo and winter's dynamic. It was great!
Never read a book with a toddler that actually had a personality until today, anyways read this in 4 hours while I was meant to be studying, I am sure the Starbucks staff think I am insane.
Another incredible book from Elsie!! Chestnut spring has become my favourite book series. Canta wait to maybe have a book series of their kids: Luke, Emma & Vivi
Great story! Love how Elise write and all the funny, heartwarming and romantic moments she creates.
What is there not to look from chestnut spring? Not a single thing.
I was pissed off for like 45% of this book and the rest of it I was just trying to rush through because I felt like I could predict everything that was going to happen
Such a sweet book! I love this series. I ended up liking Theo from the beginning, a lot more than i thought I would. Winter came around pretty quick too. I love the character development and how you can see bits and pieces of winters story in previous books. Ready for Hopeless!
I neeeeeed more!!! Ok, I HATE the baby/pregnancy trope but do so love Elsie silver's writing so I pushed through and I am so glad I did ❤️ it was written perfectly. I love it. I both read it and then downloaded the audio version. The narrators were great (Joe Arden and Savannah Peachwood). I cannot wait for Beau's story.
