I dnf'd because my copy expired. I just ran out of time. I have purchased the book since then and will finish it at a later date.

What I will say is that I was taken in immediately by it's “Little Princess” aka Shirley Temple version feel. I thought the writing was easy and comfortable. I think though at page 80 I was wanting for the story to move along already. Lots of care had been given to world building and I just wanted to move on to the meat of the story.

I will give a more thorough review once I finish.
