3 stars Je ne suis pas particulièrement fan des illustrations et de la palette de couleurs, mais l'histoire m'a accrochée. Je suis plus intriguée par l'aspect mystery than the whole “dédoublement” that Rose can do. I will définitivement pick up the next volume.
I dnf'd because my copy expired. I just ran out of time. I have purchased the book since then and will finish it at a later date.
What I will say is that I was taken in immediately by it's “Little Princess” aka Shirley Temple version feel. I thought the writing was easy and comfortable. I think though at page 80 I was wanting for the story to move along already. Lots of care had been given to world building and I just wanted to move on to the meat of the story.
I will give a more thorough review once I finish.
