Ruby Dawn
2012 • 352 pages

I enjoy suspense, but the edge contemporary stuff is not what I usually reach for in a read. I like to escape into other places and time and enjoy a good romance and adventure. When I picked up Ruby Dawn I had no idea what to expect. What I did not realize is that I was going to read nonstop until my Kindle battery died. The 15% warning popped up and I ignored it well into the night to keep turning the page until it took it upon itself to leave me in complete darkness. (But wait! What happens next?!) I've been completely captivated from page one and I love the characters with such personality. Reminds me of other authors I quite enjoyed such as Karen Ball and Melanie Wells.

I'd recommend it. I'll have to look into what other books are in the series and other things from White Rose Publishing as well in the future.

Thanks to Raquel for emailing me an eBook copy for review.
