As much as I enjoyed the book, 4 stars because I found it hard to understand what Aiden’s deal was honestly.
Rating: 3.5 idk it was good but I wasn't fully connected to the characters but also I was idk I did love the ending it was cute and it went a route I didn't expect from the synopsis but I still enjoyed
This is EXACTLY what I wanted from Priest, the first book in the series.
I haven't stopped thinking about this since I read it.
Aiden and Elijah's characters were built well, and their connection felt very real. I absolutely enjoyed the tension in this book, and the angst between the characters, and the fact that Aiden literally locks his dick in a cage because he's THAT determined to be celibate. It was absolutely iconic.
I enjoyed her writing too, it was rich and beautiful.
This was everything. The yearning. The angst. Overcoming your mental health. Fighting with regrets.
Loved this MM romance. It was emotional, it was spicy, it was wonderful.
I love the Bell brothers and their stories.
Aiden was a playboy and the life of the party, but he was struggling with depression. Being a monk provided the structure and faith he needed to connect with his soul again.
An amazing second chance romance.
