There's more to my brother's murder than I realised...
Shadows in the halls, mysteries lurking around every corner.
Whoever killed him is covering their tracks well.
And now I'm walking a dangerous line between getting close to the four kings for information and wanting to crawl deeper under their skin for my own desires.
I can't trust anyone.
I can't let my guard down.
And I must keep the urges of my body separate from my heart.
But I'm starting to break all of my own rules.
I just hope I'm not falling for my brother's killer.

oh my fucking shit that ending. That gave me legit goose bumps, something that rarely happens in a book. I'm just in awe at the authors' writing. I'm so invested in all. of the boys. The way Leon makes everyone smile, the way Dante protects his own, the way Gabrial is slowly learning that he doesn't have to run forever and the way that Ryder is slowly breaking down his walls. I'm scared to find out about Gareth, because I'm not sure how Elise will react. And Elise is just an amazing character. She's been through so much and somehow finds the best in some truly horrible people (through no fault of their own). Holy fucking shit
This one dragged so much compared to their other books, I feel like they wanted 5 books for each of the characters to be on the covers so have dragged the story out to fit, when it likely could have been a trilogy.
