Review to come soon but this was everything I wanted and more!Okay here we go: I loved everything about this book. Oh you want details? Okaycenter thoughtsWe have Riley Hunter, goalie extraordinaire and a calm island in the middle of a storm. We have Ethan Kennedy a guy full of energy and twitches but also with a big heart. Willing to put himself out there for others and embrace life with both hands. Lucky for them these two perfect halves of a whole meet while playing for the Sea Storm and once they click there's no doubt or turning back. Perhaps this is what I loved most about this book. In this story [a:Avon Gale 14237686 Avon Gale https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1493225826p2/14237686.jpg] isn't concerned with “coming out” or the still alive and kicking homophobe bullies of the world. Yes they do exist and coming out is still a difficult challenge for some but sometimes you're lucky enough to not be as affected by this BS and a story of young love is just that: a love story. A love story told with heart and humor.“Riley thought of all the things he'd fought for and won during the year, and how the tattooed idiot laughing on his bed was maybe his favorite.” The idiot in his bed is Ethan of course. LOLEthan and Riley are both men of this new generation in the best sense. While they've been sexually active with girls the notion of being attracted to a man does not freak them out. Yes they do think about it and have moments of introspection about this new experience, Riley started doing so in the previous book in the series [b:Breakaway 27384973 Breakaway (Scoring Chances, #1) Avon Gale https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1446082364s/27384973.jpg 47428410] and Ethan has a drunken night of the soul but no drama ensues.Instead we have two people getting to know each other, learning how to go about this new relationship together, and falling in love. I love how they took their time with the sexual stuff and how whenever there was an issue of a personal nature they talk it out. These guys are young but not immature or childish. They complement each other perfectly. Riley's calm and certainty centers Ethan in his more manic times and Ethan's openheartedness and love of people gives Riley what he's never had: love and family. In the bedroom they satisfy each others sexual desires and fantasies and outside they are equal partners in every way that counts. These are people you still want to know about 50 years from now. I also loved all the people that populate this book: Zoe & Ryan and Lane & Jared, from the previous book, Coach Spencer and Bennett Halley (who likes to be called Ben) & Madison, Kelsey and Britt but most of all Maura Kennedy. I love that woman! I'm most definitely going on with this series but these two set a high bar. Goalies. sighp.s. The audio narration by [a:Scott R. Smith 15364283 Scott R.
