My heart has been shattered. I always loved Joey but reading his perspective just makes me love him more. I want to hug and hold him and never let go.
wow this hurt.
I fully knew joey’s story would be sad but it was still so heartbreaking to read about.
You can clearly see that this book was written to be devastating. The pace was slower and everything that happened was predictable but it was just so emotionally intense that it didn’t need incredible plot twists or inventive ideas to be good. I care about them on a concerning level, I just love Aoife and Joey so much.
