I enjoyed this book, though not as much as the first one. I honestly think the first one by itself would have been enough. I understand the reason for the sequel and the choices the characters made, but I do not think they fully correlate with the characters' motivations from the first book. To me, the characters changed a lot from one book to the next. After the trauma of the first book's events, I could not help but feel that Jack was being really whiny.
Also, the magic of Time and Inevitability was confusing to understand. Overall, 3.5/5 stars.
