This book was extraordinary. A combination of art, science, memoir, and social commentary that'll be thinking about for a very long time.

Rumble

Too many instances of description of scientific finding, followed by personal musing that doesn't necessarily follow. Lots of repetition of ideas, with no real over-arching plan to tie it all together.
