Not so much ‘did not finish' as ‘did not even start.' A lesson learned on not scooping up a ‘promising series' before even reading a sample of the first book. I hated the first one so much I couldn't even finish it, and it's been years so there's no hope of a refund at this point. And no chance I'll ever torture myself with reading the rest of it and then the sequel.
