Sex and Vanity

Kevin Kwan, the author who brought us Crazy Riches Asians, has brought us another decadent, over the top story! I loved the world of Crazy Rich Asians and this one did not disappoint. This book had the zany side characters and the self absorbed, clueless ones as well.

The first half of the book was set in Capri at a destination wedding. It gives the backstory of Lucie and George's meeting and slow burn start. The second half is set five years later. The reason I say this is because the blurb on the book is a bit misleading. I had the impression the whole book would be in the “present”. I want to clarify this for future readers.

This was also a book I had on my Kindle and brought the print version with me. I finished pretty quickly as training has been going well and we've had most afternoons off. Now we're waiting for snow so the resort can open. I've had a lot of down time with the cats and my book. This one is a pick!
