Shot in the Heart

Some people's (and in this case, families') lives demand memoir-ization. This is one of those people. The added bonus is that he is also a gifted writer (which can be rare in the memoir game).

Also, I don't know what this says about my country, but I found this to be such an evocative portrait of a specific time and place within America.
