Sininen lootus

Less stereotypical and racist than earlier Tintin albums. This is set in actual China, and depicts Chinese people in a more fully formed way. Well, the Japanese seem quite brutal, but perhaps that's a decent depiction of the Chinese-Japanese relations at the time.

The story is fairly coherent and full of interesting twists and turns. The black and white art works well here.
