This was SO weird. If you think love at first sight is a thing in just contemporary novels I really invite you to read this historical romance published in 1980. I like to read these every now and then just to see what was popular back then and this really was...something. Yet, here I am wondering what happens in book 2 and prepared to read book 2.

This has almost every trigger warning. I'm giving it a 3.5.
