One of the few books in the series where the author invests time in character development, which makes it better than most of the rest.
Age range: 12-15
The violence in this one may hit closer to home than in the rest of this series.
Ok, so basically, this book is just like the rest of the series. Alex manages to get out of every dangerous situation that the author throws at him. The interesting thing that the author does, is that continuously through the series, you find out more about Alex's background, abut his parents. in this book (SPOILER ALERT) he finds out that his godfather is the one that actually planted the bomb that killed Alex's parents.
