"Whether reminiscing about her days as a contract chemist at GlaxoSmithKline, telling 'dirty' jokes to Mormons, feeling like the odd man out on Parks, fending off racist trolls on Twitter, flirting with Michael Fassbender, expertly stalking the cast of Hamilton, or glamming it up on the set, Retta's voice is unique and refreshing"--Front jacket flap.

Can Retta narrate all the things? Don't read this book - listen to it. Her narration really makes it. Parks & Rec fans will love this.

Know her from parks and recreation fame. Her accent itself makes me laugh. Hilarious.
Surprisingly, we have something in common which was revealed towards the end of the book. Our obsession over Hamilton, the musical :)

Very enjoyable, interesting to hear how she got to Parks n Rec and what came after. I chose the audio book version because it's read by the author herself. It would not have been anywhere near as enjoyable for me in print.
