Soft Features

A novel set in 1994 about a highly empathetic reporter for public radio who can no longer report the news without breaking down on the air. To continue working she decides to find cheerier news stories to report on-- so-called soft features -- a search which takes her on a series of misadventures around the state of Maine, and winds up proving how hard it is to report the news-- even when it's good.
