The comic started off kind of rough and the first couple of pages were boring. The plot wasn't too interesting which baffled me since this is a limited series, you would think the first issue would be mind-blowing, and at a quicker pace. I also didn't care for the constant flashbacks.

The artwork was good but I didn't like how Deadpool looked, not enough scarring on the face. Deadpool himself broke the 4th wall, which was a nice thing to see since the other Deadpool comics I have read haven't done that. However, I didn't find his jokes funny and the “wanting to retire” whine got annoying rather quickly. I guess I am not too keen on the “emotional” side of Deadpool.

The action scenes were top notch. I loved all of the gore and the fighting. But wihtout Deadpool's whit it kind of falls flat. I won't be continuing the series.
