Challenging and compelling. Two words to describe this well written, thought through, and brilliantly put together book. All too often within the church world we are either or, what this argues for is a call to unity. A unity based out of marrying together, the often polarising worlds, of high and low church expressions of worship. Understanding that this was what the early church did and so should we.
I have to day the one thing this book has made me do is get on and order some books on the early church fathers and mothers as to what they have to say about what worshipping in the apostolic and post-apostolic age was like, and as such help inform me of what that means for the church today. If you are involved in any way with church leadership or worship leading in any sense read this!!!
