Stardines Swim High Across the Sky: and Other Poems

This is bizarre and in a fun way, both the images and poems through out every page. [a:Jack Prelutsky 20775 Jack Prelutsky http://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1201022851p2/20775.jpg] is a name that I keep coming across as we research more books necessary for our learning shelves and I think in reading this is my first real introduction to some of his poems. While not normal, definitely humorous and one for opening up I think this could be a great classroom resource perhaps to make a child think outside of the box. Both to learn about poetry, rhythm and rhyme, but also to learn about connections of one thing to another.
