I didn't get through Case Histories when I first picked it up a few years ago, but after seeing so many good reviews I tried it again, and this time really enjoyed it. I like the Jackson Brodie character, but this third book of his series was my least favorite.
This was a good mystery with seemingly unimportant threads which prove useful in the end. I look forward to reading the first book in the series, Case Histories.
Found this one disappointing compared to the other Brodie books. Between the randomly shifting timelines and the way all the characters blurred together (three old cops named Barry, Harry and Ray, and I'm supposed to be able to tell them apart?) I found this one a challenge to read. The plot was far too weak to carry me through.
