Stitches

I loved the illustrations, but none of the stories were memorable or exciting. I wished this was in a manga format instead. I loved the bonus story that was in a manga style! The story with illustrations was not as impactful to me.

Great illustrations by Ito, I feel more would've helped some of these stories that were on the lackluster end. Some stories are flat and/or not all that spooky. There are a few I enjoyed, including the bonus at the end. Overall was ok. Some of the stories feel like they suffered from a poor translation into English.

Short, spooky “true” horror stories and one original graphic novel story by Ito. Overall, very entertaining. I liked “Folk Dance” and “Kimono” most. The stories are the type to be told around a campfire with some smores. The illustrations are nightmare-inducing.
