Issue #2 gets into a proper backstory now so there's much better context. The “reveal” on the plot here is not really much of a reveal since there's been pretty obvious hints of it prior to this. The story is still very much focused on this location our protagonists are at, as exposed as to actually having to deal with their need-to-be-in-close-proximity problem (kind of a like mission-of-the-week episode - I can't seem to help drawing a parallel with movie/TV series).
I also feel that while they keep stressing tha they have to “stay close”, apparently they can go over a metres apart and still be fine. This invalidates almost the entirety of the first issue - where Elakshi was getting panicky even though Adam was still pretty close by, even though he's outside the train.
Lastly, I really hope they will reveal how their current ability is triggered later on and not just let it slide. They were dancing and drinking and clearly in physical contact - yet nothing happened until the terrorists arrived (maybe it's tied to their emotional states?). I'd probably annoyed if it doesn't get any further explanation.
