Interesting, but a little too turgid and academic for my liking. I suppose this stems from me not needing much convincing about the perils of “stuffocation” in the first place; I was really looking more for how people's lives change when they ditch stuffocation, not the whys or the shoulds. Also, I am not convinced collecting experiences is the solution to the restlessness within us. We can just be as obsessed with collecting adventures as we are with collecting stuff, thinking it will bring us happiness. And in our zeal, may still end up trying to keep up with the Joneses, only instead of a better car or house, we would be comparing trips, hi octane sports activities or the latest painting class.
