There were some interesting nuggets scattered throughout, but overall, this came across as the spiritualization of some really unhealthy coping mechanisms. It???s not a book I would either read again or recommend to someone who is grieving.
A book that really brought me closer to the Lord, it reminded me of looking at the overall picture and not just at the here and now. The subject of suffering, while not an easy one to tackle, the author did a good job and the many Scriptures reference in it were appropriate for the context. While it may not answer ‘all' the practical questions one may look for, one will be reminded of the one who holds everything in His hand.
