From everything I've read and watched regarding the Holocaust, Primo Levi's words are among the most dehumanizing.

Quello di Levi non è un romanzo, un racconto, una favola, quello che Levi Racconta è la STORIA, storia vissuta, terribilmente vissuta.
Una storia tanto cruda che fa male, che ti stritola le budella, che ti tiene sveglio...
Tuttavia una storia che deve essere letta almeno una volta nella vita, non solo per non scordare, ma per IMPARARE e CAPIRE in quali abissi l'uomo può sprofondare.
Per non sbagliare mai più.

Shocking, touching, intense. I think that nobody can read this book without being changed a little bit. A true masterpiece.
