Nothing in the writing that pushed me away from the story. Trope of I love you, so you have to stay away, but done in a convincing way from both major characters. House Baylor gets involved and investigates. Alessandro gets involved because he's contracted to kill Killer of House EttersonInvestmentI really enjoy the Authors stories so when I get invested, which was about 2 chapters for this book, I have a hard time putting it down. Very interested in the Osiris serum stuff and of course the relationship between Catalina and AlessandroLogicSiren Magic doesn't affect those who truly love her. While it appeared that something was off with the magic system(mutations using magic) it was explained in an incredibly believable way for this series. A good amount of worldbuilding without going too into it. EnjoymentLoved the book.
