Take Back the House; Raising Happy Parents

I am so surprised that this book has such rave reviews. There was nothing new or groundbreaking. The author talked about leaning on alcohol in almost every anecdote and seemed to congratulate herself on her own parenting a bunch. Congrats that it worked for you, author, but how are the rest of us meant to be implementing this? Luckily, as I said, nothing new or groundbreaking so I wasn't left grasping at straws with how to take action.
