Emme suosittele Taklattua herkille lukijoille. Se on hauska, törkeä, kiihkeä ja nokkela tarina miehestä, joka tietää naisista paljon, mutta ei ollenkaan niin paljon kuin luulee.

I've read this same storyline multiple times, rich, successful manwhore meets the one girl who is resistant to his charms and he does a complete turn-around because this girl is THE ONE. Nothing from Tangled stood out from any of the others, other than the fact that the main character is too arrogant, misogynistic, and just in general an unlikable character. He also refers to his sister as “the Bitch” throughout the book, which should be enough to tell you what kind of guy he is. Men are misogynistic enough in real life, I don't need to read about it.
tried to pick this up after putting it down 3 separate times but i just am giving up. it's not for me. i don't mind if the main narrator is unlikable, but nothing about this was intriguing or drew me in enough to want to keep reading through it to see the growth. i think emma chase just isn't for me.
After reading this book, I realize that I do not like books written from the male perspective when that male is a sexist womanizer.
Andrew narrates this story, and when we first meet him he is a major player. He never sleeps with the same woman more than once, and he does not do relationships. He is unapologetic about his womanizing ways. He meets Kate and decides immediately that he wants her. She is engaged, but that does not matter to him. He pursues her anyway. He basically sexually harrasses her at work knowing that he can get away with it because he is the boss's son. He refuses to take no for an answer and justifies it to himself by saying that women want to be pursued and wooed. I just cannot tolerate a character like this.
There are steamy scenes, but for me they are too crass. I actually find it hard to believe a woman wrote them. But then maybe they are just not to my taste.
Overall, I did not enjoy this book. The narrator was unlikable, and I could not root for him. I do not recommend this book.
Another audio book from this summer which I'd been remiss to rate. I guess it was an audio kind of summer. LOLThis was a super fun read made all the better by [a:Sebastian York 7266223 Sebastian York https://s.gr-assets.com/assets/nophoto/user/u_50x66-632230dc9882b4352d753eedf9396530.png] narration. He's a rock-star! The book itself was quite good and I very much enjoyed the fact that it was told from Drew's POV. He is a funny bad boy but not a mean one and that makes all the difference. The Kate is thankfully not a doormat in need of rescue but rather a fully functioning professional young woman. Very refreshing. I guess I'll have to do the follow-ups now but I'm no rush because I think the end was just right. smile
