The Accidental Beauty Queen

I became aware of this book through the Modern Mrs. Darcy Summer Reading Guide, and I'm so glad I did! It is a quick, fun read with a some depth to it. For me in particular it caught me up in the bonds of sisters and the challenges of figuring out who you are after losing a parent. Great book!

This was an easy to read fun book. I haven't read any of the Harry Potter books so the references to Harry Potter went over my head. It was predictable but it did make me laugh.

3.5 stars. I don't like contemporary much, but I liked this one!

Not my usual kind of read but I really enjoyed it! I would have like to have seen more of what happened after but other than that it was clever and funny as heck!
