Do not read if you are new to the thought of Cusa, it does not provide a sufficient explanation of his thought to newcomers. It also assumes you are fluent with the history of the mental consciousness structure and its perspectival views on the world. Dont read this. Read Jean Gebser instead if you are interested in perspective itself.
First half is okay but the long winded explanations of simple things, side-tracks the author from actually conveying any strong information about what actually are you reading. In the end you do not feel like you read anything of substance just because most of it is references to the things author assumes you already know, some stiff explanations of cusas thought but too little of it...
If you came here to take a look at the modern world through the lens of Cusa you will have to do it on your own. Just read his essential writings series that does a much better job introducing his ideas.
