The Bachelor Girl's Guide to Murder, Volume 1

The mystery was not compelling at all; it was actually pretty confusing and unremarkable. The characters could be compelling and interesting, although the romance was rushed and also confusing. I loved the setting and historical feel of the book though, and the fun footnotes throughout. At this point, I plan on finishing the series, but we'll see how book 2 goes.
