Clara Reese provides plenty of heat in The Billionaire's Fake Fiancée. Leah loves the freedom that being the best in her field has given her. She is an out-of-the-closet single woman who dates...a lot. Plus she is a billionaire and the company profits are still rising.
Unfortunately with fame and fortune comes the downside of popularity: the press. Stories are constantly printed that are untrue and then a story is printed that crosses the line and suddenly the patriarchy comes down hard on the double-standards between men and women. Reese accurately showcases this frustrating social construct.
Reese also throws in a real love interest and not the “fake news” that the press is talking about. Too bad, the ballyhoo hit the fan before anything can become of it. Reese then takes us on Leah and Jenny's journey of knowledge and it is cute, thoughtful, and wishful. Reese keeps the chemistry high and my fingers swiping on the e-reader as I frantically kept pace with these lovely ladies.
Reese gives a great fake relationship while growing a real one. This is a Billionaire you will want to keep.
I received an ARC of this book and I am writing a review without prejudice and voluntarily.
