I loved this book! The ending of this trilogy was PERFECT.
The Prison Healer series is now one of my YA favorite series EVER.
This was a very emotional ending. I couldn't put it down! These characters were everything, every single one of them was unique, even the ones that played a smaller role in the story until this book.
Lynette Noni did a great job with this cast of characters. The relationships, the bonding, the redemption arc, the fighting for what they believed in, and for themselves, even when they thought they didn't have any strength left in them... this story was amazing.
I loved the plot, the twists, the action, the themes, the drama, and the writing, everything in this was captivating, engaging, and unforgettable. It was epic.
A top favorite, high stakes YA fantasy!
I have NO WORDS. This book deserves all the stars in the world. It was so amazing, I had high hopes for it and it did not disappoint. Lynette Noni has managed to break my heart again and again, and then mend it and then break it again. I don't even know what to say about this book, just that I loved it with all my heart and it's such a perfect ending for a beautiful series. I'm going to miss these characters so much, I've grown to love and appreciate them, even those I hated at first.
The Prison Healer is now one of my favorite fantasy series and I will neevr stop talking about it. EVERYONE needs to read this series!!!
The final fight >>>>
Loved this book, might even be on the same level as the first one!
I found the quest really intriguing as well as the final fight. The plot twists in this book were really obvious imo, especially in comparison to the first one. And there was a little to much romance and miscommunication involved, but nonetheless a really good book!
This is THE MOST slept on trilogy.
It is absolutely PERFECT. Every single book.
Right to the top of my favorites list.
This book brought me to tears more times than once. The ending was painful, beautiful, hopeful, everything I wanted and more.
I cannot recommend this series enough. Do yourself a favor and buy it and immediately start reading it.
Absolutely loved this! I actually cried multiple times while reading this book; something that rarely happens to me.
I loved pretty much everything about this trilogy and it is easily one of my new favourites!
Also, I love all the characters so much and I am just overall very satisfied with the ending of this series.
Solid 4.5/5 star series
Highly, highly recommend!
Trigger warning: this book does deal with some heavy topics and delves into addiction and mental health issues. As someone who has witnessed a loved one go through withdrawal, it was a bit difficult for me to get through those scenes.
4.4 * – the story moved quick and lots happened & it was a great book!!!!
but i was getting some of the woe-is-me character trope that i dont always like, especially since the first book was mostly devoid of it.
"Everyone deserves to have someone fight for them, even - and especially - when they're unable to fight for themselves."
Kiva is back in Zalindov following the events of The Gilded Cage and is desperate to fix things. Jaren & Caldon are in hiding and trying to reclaim their kingdom.
4.5 stars.
Such a good ending to an amazing series! I only deduct a half star because of the eye roll worthy miscommunication between our main characters. Just talk it out guys!
Lynnette Noni and her epic plot twists and ending. thanks for writing this . masterpiece of trilogy
