Delightfully heady. I believe surreal and/or Kafka-esque might be mentioned somewhere. I love the absurd nature how all at once something is completely reasonable that is then turned on its head as to be unreasonable (eg getting conned by the person you assumed was supposed to help)
I also thought that some of the details were fantastic: same name Rebecca and the book he's written being called ‘Without K' but the plot of his book is about the encyclopaedia volume K is missing. It's wonderfully built. And maybe I got fooled, but it seemed that there were clues in the story to figuring out the killer.

What an odd little book. Focused on an author trying to promote his books, he is down on his luck while murders sprang up across the city.
The ending is ambiguous, meant to encourage you to re-read the book and put the clues together. Instead it has me irked that I wasted my time on something that was rather pointless.
an engrossing little read that might've moved a bit too fast for it's own good.
This was so surreal and left me with an unsettling feeling, which is perfect for the spooky month. I loved the dark comedy and retro comic style this graphic novel had. I want to re-read it soon to see if I can make more sense of it the second time around.
