The Bride's Prerogative

I have to say, I hate the title they gave to this collection; it's entirely inaccurate.

Romance isn't much of a focus at all in this trilogy. Ladies band together to learn to protect themselves after the local sheriff is murdered in his own office and no suspects are in sight. It's a fun group of stories set in a small town, with quirky local color. A bit of theft, a bit of intimidation, and a number of buildings burning, plus about one murder per book. I enjoyed the whole trilogy.
