The buffalo hunters

The buffalo hunters

Buffalo Hunter Dave Larabee, with two wagons piled high with dried buffalo hides, glanced at the endless stretches of western Kansas prairies and thought his load of skins represented enough money to make any man as poor as him ignore the peaceful world through which he was passing. But at least he had company on this trip. Kelly O'Brien was a green but eager young man, and a welcome assistant. Larabee's dreamy reverie was abruptly shattered by the sudden and swift onslaught of a pack of bushwhackers. O'Brien was killed and the precious buffalo skins stolen. Larabee set out to exact his revenge, but his plans were immediate complicated by a strange combination of events.
