The Burnout Generation

this book was supposed to be uplifting about how we can deal with burnout (well, that's what i thought) but it was really just stories of peoples burnout and how our generation is so burnt out and there's no expectation of norms changing to help with that and tbh got kinda negative about my future reading this and would not recommend at all.

Meh. I already know what it feels like to be burnt out. The only thing I got from this book is more anxiety as I listened to folks talk about how tired they are.

A short but fascinating piece about life as a millennial and all the stress following them around.

I wish there was more than solely different perspectives that back up this is indeed a problem that needs to be looked into more. This is something I want to dig into deeper.

The stories of being a young adult trying to make a living in NYC....that hit home for me.
