The camp in the mountains

In the Louisiana Territory of the late eighteenth century, sixteen-year-old Fred Linden, his fifteen-year-old friend Terry Clark, and a Shawanoe warrior, Deerfoot, finally reach the trappers' cabin but find it occupied by hostile Winnebagoes.
