The Christmas Bride

The Christmas Bride

Greg Sterling was suddenly a very wealthy man. He'd lived and toiled on his small farm out west until learning that his property was very valuable. He sold it and decided to return to his hometown to reclaim a home life that he knew as a child. Love was out of the question, as Alice had rejected him for an older rich man several years before. Not knowing where to start his new life, he gazed out at a park near his hotel when he noticed something unusual. He found a young lady in very ill health and sought help immediately. The young lady, Margaret, was the sole provider for herself and her beloved grandparents. Her small salary was not enough for her to get ahead and help her grandparents to keep their family farm in Vermont.

Margaret's recovery from her weakened condition was slow and Greg enjoyed being able to help someone with his newly acquired wealth. A series of misunderstandings resulted in Margaret running away and relapsing. Greg frantically searches for her and begins to pray for her after he meets a dedicated servant of the Lord. Greg's life has new meaning and purpose as he begins to use his fortune for God's work. Greg eventually hires Margaret to assist with his new ministry. The story tells of how their hearts are knit together and how Greg finds the home and love he'd dreamed of.
