Dear Book,
It's not me, it's you. It's you for being advertised as something you're not. It's you for not warning me that this is not a story of supervillains winning, but a tale of how a pill of a boy quits the ‘horrible' family business to become one of those annoyingly ‘good' superheroes.
Really, Book, it's your own fault.
You knew this wasn't what I wanted, and you still forced yourself onto me by proclaiming that you were villainous. I should have known, that any book proclaiming it's intentions so loudly would be less grey and more black vs. white than anything else I've read since my last attempt at a supervillain tale.
Well, I've learnt exactly what you are and, don't worry, I won't be making the mistake again.
Sincerely, An Angry, Misled Reader
