When Roger Delaney washes out of the fighter pilot program and is assigned to the infantry, he goes AWOL. While in his cell block awaiting trial, Delaney is converted but can't get anyone to believe him. He determines to become a pilot with the help of a young woman who has also been through the fires of adversity.
