The Crucifix Killer (Robert Hunter, #1)

A decently constructed thriller ruined by an unconvincing contrived ending full of unintended evidence of the detective's incompetence. Very readable and full of suspense and thrills. Hopefully Carter has improved since this first novel. “Could do better”
