The Dad Emails or: How I Catfished My Dad for a Year

This is the true story of Keith Malley (award-winning stand-up comedian and Academy of Podcasters Hall of Fame inductee) catfishing his father (Catholic priest turned insurance salesman). In the year-long saga, Father Malley thought he was talking to his ex-daughter-in-law, Cathryn, after he wrote to her out of nowhere two years after his son's divorce. He quickly tried to bond with her by promising to keep secrets from his son, lying about his academic and professional achievements, and even revealing to her that "you do make a old man's libido jingle." It wasn't Cathryn after all though. It was his son, Keith.
